My Story
Hi! I'm Dr. Vero
Born and raised in Southeast Florida, I’ve always been deeply fascinated by health, biology, and nature. This passion led me to pursue a career in medicine. I began as a double major in Biology and Psychology at Florida International University before transferring to the University of Miami, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. I then continued my journey at St. George’s University in Grenada for medical school—a pivotal experience that reaffirmed my calling as a physician.

During my third and fourth years of medical school, I completed clinical rotations in New York City at Elmhurst Hospital, Queens Hospital, and Kingsbrook Hospital. These invaluable experiences played a crucial role in shaping my early foundation in health and wellness.

Healthy Living
I graduated from medical school in June 2017 and now call sunny Miami home. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health before returning to residency. As a physician, I’m deeply committed to health and wellness, with a passion for nutritious eating and an active lifestyle. You’ll often find me working out up to six days a week—whether it’s running, kickboxing, yoga, spinning, roller-skating, or swimming, I love exploring new ways to stay fit. My latest discovery is meditation, which has been a powerful tool for self-development.
Your exercise goals can go beyond fitness—they can be a path to overall health. Just 30 minutes of movement, five times a week can work wonders for your well-being. Pair that with a nutritious diet, and you’re on the road to a healthier lifestyle!
Eating well isn’t just about the foods you choose; it’s also about how they make you feel. Nutritious food fuels your body, boosts your energy, improves sleep (just like exercise), and even enhances your skin’s natural glow. When you nourish yourself from within, you’ll feel vibrant and amazing. That desire to feel your best and lead a healthy life is at the heart of everything I do.
